Workflow / approvals
Worked within an approval workflow with stakeholders and Marketing to align on messaging, accuracy, and publish-ready assets.
Constraints
Multiple formats and short turnaround times, legacy brand guidelines, and stakeholder approvals—while maintaining consistent hierarchy and readability.
Project context
Over a six-month period, I created LinkedIn social content for RDK to support events, the Global Summit, and Working Group updates. This work was produced under the legacy brand—before the new rebrand system was fully available—so the focus was on maintaining consistency and clarity within existing guidelines and a stakeholder/Marketing approval process.
My role
I worked as a Social Media Content Designer and supported art direction, owning the design and production of LinkedIn assets end-to-end using Figma and Adobe.
Challenge
Deliver clear, on-brand LinkedIn posts for technical and community updates without a dedicated template system—while keeping visuals consistent across formats and meeting stakeholder and Marketing approval timelines.
What I did
Designed and produced LinkedIn posts for events, the Global Summit, and Working Group communications
Translated technical topics into scannable, community-friendly visuals (clear headline, key takeaway, and CTA)
Recreated layouts consistently across posts to maintain a recognizable look and feel under the legacy brand
Ensured readability and brand alignment through hierarchy, spacing, typography, and safe-area discipline
Managed iteration cycles through stakeholder and Marketing reviews and delivered final export-ready assets
Key decisions
Consistency without templates: Since there was no time or space to build a full template system, I standardized the layout logic (hierarchy, spacing, and CTA placement) and recreated it consistently across posts to strengthen brand recognition.
Scan-first hierarchy: Prioritized a strong headline and single key takeaway so technical topics could be understood quickly in the LinkedIn feed.
Approval-friendly design: Kept layouts flexible for last-minute copy/date/speaker changes, while protecting brand consistency during review cycles.
Collaboration
Worked with stakeholders and Marketing to align on messaging priorities, ensure technical accuracy, and move assets efficiently through review and approval.
Result
A cohesive set of LinkedIn posts that improved consistency and readability under the legacy brand—making technical and community updates easier to scan and helping the channel maintain a more unified presence over time
